The most famous sight here is the Canal du Mide, a Unesco World Heritage Site that was designed by Paul Riquet, a man who wanted to join the Mediterranean and Atlantic via a canal. Also visit the Musée du Biterrois, a museum of the town’s history that features Roman artefacts and exhibitions on local winemaking.
